Epic Epping Gravel
Ride Level: Green - Easy
All bikes | GPX Route | Gravel | 21 km / 13 miles
OK, hands up, I was shown this route by Josh Buckingham when leading a gravel skills session, but it needs to be included in the route collection.
Imagine an almost near-perfect, wide, 100% all-weather gravel path that’s totally legit to ride on, one that includes some decent descents, leg-burning ascents and loads of flowing trails on London’s doorstep, and this is it!

Ride Description
Start at Chingford Railway Station, turn right and the fun starts, there’s little to say other than if you want to cane this route, do it mid-week either very early or late as it can get busy with other riders and dog walkers, otherwise, take a picnic it makes for an enjoyable gentle ride out in the woods.
