Southern Grit
Gravel/CX MTB bikes | 1 day Charity Gravel Adventure | Fully Supported | 66miles/106km
Discover the fun of Gravel riding on our day adventure to the depths of Kent and Surrey, with all profits being donated to the Herne Hill Velodrome to improve the off-road trails.
Description
After a coffee and croissant at the velodrome, head off through the 'urbs, over Mitcham Common and around the Beddington Bird Sancturay and ride the ever Happy Valley.
There's a quick optional detour to view the Route to Purgatory (no doubt some wit will mention they're already on one) in Chalon Church before tackling the Caterberg to the top of the Ridge.
Climb the sandy Tilburston Hill, into the woods of the Enterdent and follow the Greensand Ridge east and come across Toys Hill from an unexpected angle!
Dropping down from the Greensand ridge towards Sevenoaks to climb the chalky North Downs on Old Pol Hill before cutting across the bottoms to Keston and back to the velodrome for a well earned Chili and Beer at Jans Cafe.
