River and Palaces

SATURDAY 12th SEPTEMBER
Ride the Thames between royal parks, hidden trails and historic London palaces
£50

London hides some wonderful riding in plain sight. This relaxed self-guided ride follows the banks of the River Thames, linking royal parks, historic estates and quiet green corridors into one flowing route through South West London.

The route weaves through Syon Park, Bushy Park, Richmond Park and Chiswick House Gardens, passing historic houses including Hampton Court Palace, Strawberry Hill House and Ham House along the way.

Much of the route runs through parks and along the Thames Path, so large sections of the ride are completely traffic-free.

This isn’t a sufferfest. It’s a day out on the bike — steady riding, beautiful scenery and a chance to explore a different side of London at your own pace.
