INTINERARY

Day 1

12th July

Oxford to Stow on the Wold

60 km/40 miles | 550 m/1800ft

Aim to meet at Oxford's Cycle Hub Cafe by 10 am and we'll set off following the Thames path out of Oxford, ride past Blenheim Palace, and stop for a relaxed lunch in village pub. Afterward, we'll join the ancient Salt Roads to Chipping Norton, then enjoy a smooth ride into Stow on the Wold.

Day 2

13th July

Stow on the Wold to Oxford

70km/44 miles | 470m/1540

Leaving Stow, we’ll swiftly pass through the bustling Bourton on the Water, dodging the coachloads of tourists.

Then, it's a peaceful ride past the Barringtons, dropping into the beautiful Windrush Valley at Burford.

From there, we’ll follow a mix of gravel paths and quiet lanes all the way back to Oxford.

Accommodation

We will be staying in a 3 star hotel in the heart of Stow on the Wold.

Tour dates: 12th and 13th July 2025

The cost per rider is £450 which includes two days fully supported and guided gravel riding, accommodation on shared room basis, with breakfast, luggage transfers and support mechanic

Price excludes travel to Oxford, lunches and dinner.

A non-refundable £100 deposit will secure your place, balance due 8 weeks before the tour starts.

Single room supplement available for £100 per person

Is this ride for me?

Moderate (30-50km)

Suitable for those who cycle fairly frequently, able to ride for 2 hours at a steady pace, and have some experience riding off-road.

The route will have some hills and descents on gravel paths and bridleways.

Suitable for MTB, gravel, cyclocross bikes and off-road ebikes.
