About our Holidays

'Made by Cyclists for Cyclists'

All the rides and adventures are created by Charlie, a keen passionate and experienced off road cyclist. With small groups of up 10 riders his adventures are tailored to maximise the experience and minimise the hassle!

Accomodation

We carefully select accommodations for our tours to ensure a unique and enjoyable experience.

In England, we typically stay in charming 3 or 4-star hotels.

In Granada, you'll have the opportunity to stay with locals in the iconic Caves overlooking the Alhambra Palace, offering a truly immersive experience.

Most tours are based on sharing a twin room with breakfast included. Single room supplements are generally available if you prefer your own space.

Please note that in some rural areas, the standards of accommodation may be more basic, but we believe this adds to the adventure and charm of your travel experience.

Experienced Guide

Our rides are fully guided, usually by Charlie, an experienced gravel rider and professional off-road cycling coach. As the founder of Hidden Tracks Cycling, Charlie holds a British Cycling Ride Leader Qualification and has many years of experience in leading and coaching. He is dedicated to ensuring you have a fantastic experience on every ride.

Ride Support

In addition to the riding guide, a backup vehicle driven by a trained mechanic accompanies the rides. This vehicle meets the group regularly to address any bike issues, carry baggage, and assist anyone who needs a break. With this support, you can focus on enjoying the ride, knowing that help is always nearby.

Ride grades

We understand that not everyone has the same fitness and skill level, so all our rides are graded similarly to ski runs:

  • Green: Easy rides, suitable for beginners.
  • Blue: Moderate rides, for those with some experience.
  • Red: Challenging rides that require a good degree of fitness.
  • Black: Rides for lycra-clad enthusiasts, demanding advanced skills and fitness.

This grading system ensures that everyone can find rides that match their ability and enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Food

Trying the local food is a wonderful part of the trip, and our accommodations are provided on a bed and breakfast basis. Each tour has different arrangements for dinner, with a strong emphasis on eating local cuisine. This can include unique experiences such as a barbecue overlooking the Alhambra Palace, ensuring that you enjoy authentic and memorable meals throughout your journey.

Luggage Transfers

Concentrate on the riding, the scenery, and the fun! We'll ensure all your bags magically appear in your hotel at the end of each day, so you can enjoy your adventure without any worries.

Getting there

Made as easy as possible.

AIRPORT TRANSFER

Make your own way to the airport, and we will take care of the rest. We'll pick you up at the start of your trip and drop you back at the end, eliminating the hassle of finding taxis or struggling with local transport. This service is available only on scheduled arrival and departure days.

Getting your bike to the start

I know I'd far prefer to ride a long trip on my own bike—it's set up how I like, I know how it works, and I'm comfortable in its saddle for the long days ahead. However, traveling with a bike can be a real hassle. Getting a bike on a plane (or Eurostar) is a modern-day torture: it's expensive, difficult, awkward at every stage, and ultimately just tedious!

To make it easier, we have teamed up with a specialist bike courier who send you a bike box and packing,(if you don't have one) collect it from your home and have it waiting for you when you arrive.

At the end of the trip it will be returned back your home.

The service is fully insured, tracked and frankly, the way to go...

Bike Hire

New to gravel riding and don’t have the right bike? No problem! We have teamed up with Cyclefit to offer rental of high-quality Titanium Landrace gravel bikes (I ride one myself).

Book in advance and, if possible, visit their store in London to have the bike adjusted to suit you—bike fitting is their specialty.

We'll arrange for the bike to be taken to the start of the adventure!
