Ride Description

Although longer than most blue rides this route is graded as moderate to reflect the amount well maintained tarmac cycle paths in the first 18 miles of the route. Leaving the city of quiet roads until the Arsenal where the route joins the parkland walks to Alexandria Palace.

From Arnos Grove the route follows the linear park along the Pymme’s Brook until it reaches the countryside at Arkley.

Great route mixing London Urban and off-road

The route was very clear, visible on the map page of my Wahoo Roam.

Discovered parts of London I never knew previously. Route is straightforward, enjoyed it lots. Never been to St Alban's before. The Peregrine Falcons were very.audible when I arrived at the Cathedral which was a bonus.
