Friday 15th August
Another 'monster' ride in our Landrace series of guided gravel rides, a 150km dash from London to Folkestone for fish 'n' chips!
Intinerary
Meet at Cyclefit's Store Street shop, then ride to Embankment Pier to catch the Uberboat to Greenwich.
From there, we’ll follow an atmospheric route along the estuary, shifting from industrial grit to open marshlands.
Cross the Medway River before tackling the first significant climb of the day, ascending to the top of Blue Bell Hill.
Recharge with a hearty lunch at the Robin Hood Pub, famed for its generous portions.
Join the Pilgrims Way for a thrilling mix of fast gravel tracks and quiet country lanes, offering an exhilarating ride.
Take a breather in Wye before tackling the final technical climb to the top of the North Downs—after that, it’s all downhill, I promise.
Descend onto Romney Marsh via the scenic Giraffe Path through the zoo, then follow the Royal Military Canal to the coastal path, which leads all the way to Folkestone Harbour.
