Day 5

The return?

We catch a local train from Paris to Calais, a relaxed, scenic ride through northern France, then ferry back across the Channel and the high speed train back into London.

It’s a full day, and an adventure in itself.

(And yes, I’d love to take the Eurostar, but they don't like bikes.)

Accommodation

In Calais we will be staying in a 2 star hotel on the beach, on the second night In Willeman, in a comfortable rural Auberge complete with dinner.

In Beauvais we are staying near the Cathedral in a 4 star hotel and in a 3 star hotel in Paris near the Bastille.
