Half day MTB training

Gather a group of up to 8 friends or fellow clubmates and spend a day out on the slopes - well err, in the woods and local MTB centres practising and learning those all-important MTB skills and for those that want to race - that vital race craft!
Over the 4-hour session, we’ll cover the basics, the cone of movement and the ready position cornering before moving on to climbing, descending and wheel lifts.
Skills covered: Cone of movement, ready position, climbing and descending, wheel lifts and drops, along with race tactics galore!
Rider requirements: To join this ride you need to be a competent cyclist able to ride for 2 hours or more

How to organise
Gather together a group and find a time on the schedule or just send me an email. I'll be in contact and we can agree on a convenient meeting point - normally a cafe local to a park or woodland.
Meeting point
We can meet anywhere within a 30-mile radius of London, when scheduling a time please bear in mind that I'm coming from Brixton in SW London.
Once you have made a booking please contact me to arrange the finer details.
Group Size
To get the best out of the session, its best to limit the group size to a maximum of 8 riders

Skills Covered
Depending on rider level, we'll cover Riding position, climbing, descending, off-camber and cornering, remounts, dismounts, carrying and shouldering, starts and race tactics.
Is my bike OK for this ride?
Ideally, riders should have cyclocross or gravel bikes.
What do I need to bring?
- Helmet (wearing helmets is a must on our rides)
- Spare inner tube
- Snacks and Water
- Rain jacket (if required)
- Suitably warm/cool clothing for the weather
- Sunscreen (as necessary)
What's included in the price?
- Experienced British Cycling Qualified (Level 2 MBT disciplined specific ) for the session
What's not included in the price?
- Reasonable travel expenses - the cost of these will be agreed upon before the session takes place.
