Bluebell woods seen on bike ride from Hidden tracks Cycling

See the local woodlands clothed in their finest blue.

I just love the Spring – the days start to warm up, mud disappears from the trails and the woods wake up.

It’s a surprise how wooded some of the outer London Boroughs are, Bromley, Croydon and Kingston all own and maintain large tracks of woodland as does the City of London. Most of these will soon be carpeted in Bluebells, some of the best are under an hour away by bike.

I’ve put together a blue/moderate grade ride ‘Wonderful Bluebell Woods’ that will take you to some of the most beautiful woods that are easily accessible by most cyclists riding almost any type of bike. (All our rides are graded like ski runs, green is easy running through to black for expert).

These woods are a truly remarkable sight and its difficult to believe that you’re still in a London Borough!

I was out last weekend and the blue bells are just on the cusp of coming out. I reckon they are a couple of weeks away from full splendour, so join me on Friday 16th April or Friday, 23rd April and see them for yourself.
