Gravel cycling is more than just pedaling on quiet roads, it’s about exploring new terrain, tackling unpredictable surfaces, and enjoying the freedom of traffic-free riding. But it’s also more challenging than smooth tarmac: every mile takes more effort, and loose surfaces, climbs, and descents test both your bike and your body.

No matter what bike you ride, whether a dedicated gravel machine or your trusty hybrid, you’ll need specific skills to ride safely and confidently, especially if you’re aiming for longer adventures or one-day gravel events.

Our sessions focus on building both technique and confidence. We combine clear instruction with hands-on practice: for example, stopping at a short climb or tricky corner, demonstrating the technique, and giving you time to try it yourself. With guidance and feedback, your confidence grows quickly, and you’ll soon be tackling more challenging trails and gravel routes that seemed daunting at first.

The goal is not to cover miles, but to ride smarter, smoother, and safer. By the end of the day, it’s hugely satisfying to see riders handle sections they never imagined they could.

We can meet anywhere within a 50-mile radius of London. Simply book a time slot online, and I’ll email to confirm, discuss your level, expectations, and goals—and from there, we’ll plan your session.
