Confidence boosting CX Skills

The all day Cyclocross skills session with Charlie was fantastic. I had raced a bit before Covid but had really lost my confidence and was uncertain about signing up for the 2021 London League. After evaluating our basic skills Charlie worked with us on slaloming and moving around on the bike. We progressed onto my most feared aspect of Cross - off camber, but with some great coaching points, I got more and more confident in riding along the slope. By the end of the day we had covered cornering, off camber, climbing, descending, tricky corners, mounting/dismounting and race starts. The result? I've entered three races so far which have been great fun and the tricky off camber sections didn't phase me at all.
