Riding your bike is great – I know that!

This evening course covers the basics you will need to keep your cycle in fine, reliable working condition. Should a disaster happen when out and about, you’ll be able to complete a roadside fix to get you home.
You will need to bring a multitool, tyre levers, puncture repair kit and an inner tube and if your bike wheels are secured with bolts – a bike spanner. (All these are available from all cycling shops and are the tools you ought to carry when going on any bike ride – if you don’t have them my local friendly bike shop Rat Race has put a kit together complete with saddle bag for £ XXX )
Having done the session you will be able to fix a puncture, adjust brakes, clean and oil chains and index your gears, this is a practical course, so do expect to get your hands dirty…
