Skills covered: Riding position, climbing, descending, off-camber, cornering, roots and loose gravel.

Rider requirements: To join this ride you need to be a competent cyclist able to ride for 2 hours or more

Thanks Charlie for a great day out honing our gravel riding skills

I really feel we managed to challenge our fears, improve our confidence on the tricky bits and find the fun and joy on the trails. There was certainly lots of laughter.

Thank you for the coaching and guiding. I feel much bolder for our Pennine way adventure now.

Learnt a lot

Me and 4 cycling friends had a great coached day with Charlie yesterday. We’ve all signed up for the Rapha Pennines Rally in June so wanted to improve our skills in preparation. Our ability levels were mixed, with roadie background but 3 of us much more off-road experience.

Charlie was great, established aims and ability levels. Good mix of riding through parkland and hide. Woods with skills drills and practice. There was also a good pub lunch stop. Would definitely recommend and do it again. Learnt a lot- thanks!
